GOD Provides

RESPONSIBILITIES AND  DUTIES OF GOD

Responsibility can be defined as the state of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone. It can also be defined as the state or fact of being accountable or to blame for something.
Duty can be defined as the state of doing something because it’s your obligation to do; a moral or legal obligation; a responsibility, a task or action that one is required to perform as part of one’s job.

The meanings to these two words are similar and are collectively used together. I would make it clear out of these definitions of these two words that GOD is responsible for our existence and He owes it a duty to provide for us. Now what is my evidence? The Bible, personal experience of manifestation of the Holy Spirit, and the death of Christ on the cross and His resurrection are my evidences. Some people have come out with some theories and philosophies (view) to prove the Bible wrong but they have failed. In Genesis chapters one and two (1and2) as have been already quoted and explained in the previous chapters, GOD created man out of the dust and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life to become a living soul. He created man in His image which can be explained in two different contexts: Purity or character or Holiness, and Physical appearance or human form. In the context Purity or character or Holiness and attributes – love, kindness, patience, holy, righteous and others; And in the context of human form or physical appearance – has hands, fingers, legs, head, mouth, tongue, eyes, and others as manifested in the flesh of son of man ‘JESUS CHRIST’ – John 1:14, ‘And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth’. So the image is in the sense of Purity or character or Holiness and attributes, and Physical appearance or human form. Although in my book titled ‘There Is A Condition – Recognising The Conditions of Successful Life’ I stated that GOD is neither black nor white, tall or short, colourless and can appear in any form to man. The physical form of JESUS CHRIST whilst on earth exhibits the nature of GOD the FATHER in the flesh.
The definition of responsibility states that ‘a fact of being accountable or to blame for something’ so the question is can we blame GOD for our existence and accountable for all our problems? The answer is GOD is responsible for our existence and He owes it a duty to provide for us as I have already stated. Our problems or sufferings were caused by man and the devil not GOD and why it is so? It’s because GOD gave man the free will to choose and man decided to obey the command of the devil‘s ‘sweet words’. GOD gave man free will as He did not want to control man like a robot.

The provision our needs or wants are in two forms or categories, these are visible and invisible provisions.

Visible / Physical Provision
God has already provided for His children or mankind. GOD created the trees, animals, waters, the land, sun, moon, stars and all other things for man’s use. Whatever man needs are in provision by the Creator and it is up to man to utilise them. I have already stated that in the Garden of Eden, the glory of GOD covered man that is why man and the woman were not naked. Adam and Eve did not need to sweat or strive before they can live. When the glory of GOD disappeared as a result of disobedience and Adam and Eve realised they are naked, and there became the need to strive to eat although the provisions were still available.

GOD is a loving GOD; when man disobeyed Him, He did not take the provisions away but still made it available for man to utilise them. Before man can utilise these resources, he has to seek knowledge before. Without knowledge man cannot turn raw materials into finished goods or products and services, cannot cook the cassava or plantain. In the Garden things were already made, man did not need to learn how to turn cassava to flour or fufu or anything; But outside the Garden man needs to acquire knowledge either formally or informally before getting ends meet.

GOD gave us natural resources to use to make our lives better, but He also gave us the ability to exercise wisdom in our use of these natural resources.

Invisible or Spiritual Provision
The almighty creator not only did He made all the trees, animals, and all the natural resources available for man’s use but He has also provided for us invisible things. He has made available the Holy Spirit or Ghost to comfort us and lead us not into temptations.

He has made His only begotten son available for us to believe in Him to have life. He loves us so He has given us the second chance to repent of our sins and come to reunion with Him again.
Romans 1:20, For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

The Available Resource Provision
According to Genesis chapters one and two (1 and 2), GOD created all things and handed over to man to take care of it. Man was made a ruler over GOD’s creation on earth. Genesis 2:8 -17 gives an account of the Garden of Eden which GOD planted in the eastern part of Eden. Which means Eden was a place existed on earth like a country. The Bible makes me understand that Eden was like a country that GOD sited the Garden in the East. The Garden was made a place of happiness, free from sufferings, and was a perfect serene environment. Outside the Garden was either void or empty country of either other human beings or no human beings. The Bible did not state whether there were some human beings living outside the Garden of Eden before Adam and Eve were banished outside the Garden. Although according to Genesis 4:14 – 15, there may be some existing beings before Adam and Eve which may be living outside the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve were enjoying in the Garden of Eden. (Genesis 4: 14 -15) ‘Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.’ Do not forget that those beings may be the fallen angels who supported Lucifer to rebel against the Almighty JEHOVAH God. They could be the only people who were supernatural beings who could slay Cain into death. Note also that the country outside the Garden was not a perfect place. Outside the Garden of Eden was a place of the strongest survives. There are a lot of mysteries surrounding the life of Cain after he had killed his brother Abel.

Sin was first committed in the heart of Lucifer in GOD’s Kingdom of Heaven. Lucifer entered the earth with the sin and his sin affected man when he approached Eve and then Eve unto Adam in the Garden. Outside the Garden was not a perfect place to dwell, man was cursed to till the land before eating, the woman will feel pains in child delivery, the serpent because it allowed Satan to enter it to lure woman and the woman to man was also cursed to walk with it belly. GOD did not take away the beautiful things and did not also take away man’s power to rule neither the creatures nor the free Will. The only thing GOD took away was His glory that was upon man which man used to overcome the wildness animals and other things. Man still has the power over GOD’s creation but without knowledge and skills man cannot control other creatures.

Below are the things GOD has made it available for man to utilise:

Heaven and the Earth:
Heaven in the context of sky or planet above the earth absorbs all poisonous gases and chemicals, rain fall from there; and sun, moon, stars and other heavenly bodies are held there; act as an umbrella, shielding the earth’s surface from incoming solar radiation resulting in an overall cooling effect, and many other things all to the benefit of man.

The earth provides different types of soil for cultivation and mining of minerals, a habitat for other living organisms, and many other natural resources that man depend on it for life.

Waters:
Water is one of the most vital natural resources for all life on Earth.
The waters were created for man to drink, use to wash cloths, water crops, generate electricity, etc.

Sun:
The sun provides so many benefits to man. It is used to provide solar energy, dry cloths, and many other things.

In short GOD has provided all the natural resources for man’s use because He created man and He owes it a duty to provide. Just like parents bringing forth children, they owe it a duty to provide for the children. In reality anyone who owns something take very good of it, uses it the way he wish, and always makes sure the thing is under a law or control. The same with GOD, He expect man to obey Him all the time.

Why Do GOD Provide For Us
GOD is still caring and providing for us because of His mercy. He has shown us His mercy from Adam’s generation to date. He clothed Adam and Eve when they were naked. (Genesis 3:21) ‘Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.’ Have you ever thought of it, why GOD clothed Adam and Eve? Because He is merciful, gracious, loving, patient, kind, and passionate about their life; He is responsible for their welfare. He brought them from where they did not have knowledge about and He felt their pain of difficulties.

God has power and had power to avoid their downfall but He made man free will of choice in life with a condition. Yet He is responsible for our life.

We are only told by science or doctors that we are born out of fusion of male and female gametes. This is a scientific prove of man’s origin but the origin of first man or beings on earth cannot be proven by science. It is only proven by the Bible, and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

Consequences of not Tithing

This is also an excepts from ANGELICA ZAMBRANO’S 2ND EXPERIENCE IN HEAVEN AND HELL, On her second journey, Angelica was shown the judgment against Christians that rob from God in tithes and offerings, the judgment against idolatrous nuns and rebellious children, the Lamb’s book of life, and much more. “Tell My people that My coming is near, I come for My holy people, tell My people that only the saints, that only the saints will see Me.”
She was shown this: Among all those people, I heard someone saying, “I ask for your forgiveness now Lord, because I have stolen from you, forgive me for stealing, I stole from You Lord and I do not want to do it again.” I asked, “Lord, who is he and why does he say he stole from You?” “My child I will show you who he is.” We entered his cell and I saw a disfigured man. The flames opened up and I could see that he was being tormented.
All those people who are in hell have a plaque on their chest, and 666 on their forehead. This man extended his hand and said, “Lord forgive me.” I asked, “Why are you here, why are you asking for forgiveness from the Lord, why? You say you have stolen from God, but nobody can steal from God? This is impossible, why do you say you have stolen from Him?” He replied, “I’ll tell you my story…I was a Christian leader, for 20 years I had known Christ, but during the 20 years I said: ALL THAT MONEY FROM MY TITHING AND OFFERINGS WERE JUST TO SUSTAIN THE PASTORS, but I regret it because I now know that it wasn’t for them, it was for the Lord, and that is why I say I have stolen from God … At this very moment there are many people on Earth that are robbing the Lord like I did. When you return to Earth, tell all those people who don’t want to give their tithes and offerings, not to steal from the Lord, otherwise, they’ll wind up in Hell (lake of fire), and no thief will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I knew the Holy Word, now I regret it and realize I robbed the Lord.” (Malachi 3:8) “Tell the people when they give to God, give the Lord with true love.” (2 Cor 9:7) This man kept pleading, “Lord forgive me”, and the Lord replied, “It is too late, there is no opportunity for you.”
I asked the man, “But why did you rob God, why? You knew very well we cannot steal God’s tithes and offerings.” He answered, “Yes, I knew very well, but never did follow it, I never did because I was a very proud man.”
Don’t ever steal from the Lord, give your tithes and offerings to God because what we give the Lord on Earth it is not for men. When we give to God with all our heart, it is for the King of kings and Lord of lords.
The Bible says that the Lord tests us, it is clearly written in Malachi 3:8-10 You are cursed with the curse, for you are robbing Me, even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. If you want God to greatly bless your life and your family, then don’t ever steal from God. It’s time to bless God, so He can bless our lives.

Tithes and Offerings – The CONFUSED subject

The Essence And Effects Of Tithes And Offerings

Tithing and offering are two interesting subjects, which Christian denominations, religious bodies, and philosophers have different meanings and applications. While tithing and offering are certainly biblical concepts, some Christian churches, philosophers, and religious bodies teach that tithe is a command and offering is a sacrificial will of Christians, some also teach that these are not so. What does the Bible teach regarding tithing and offering under the New Covenant?
In order to understand how tithing fits (or doesn’t fit) into the life of a Christian or a religious person, we must first examine tithing as it was originally commanded, its purposes, and its meaning.
Offering which sometimes interchangeably defined to be tithe, one needs to understand the meaning of sacrifice, free will, giving, and sharing.
If I am to ask, how is GOD of the Old Testament or the prophets differ from the GOD of New Testament, or the apostles. Certainly this is not. So why are there many arguments of tithes and offerings?
This book explains the spiritual, physical, psychological, and biblical principles of Tithing and Offering. A thorough analysis of tithes and offerings are considered with biblical references and revealing testimonies. The spiritual and physical purposes of tithing, consequences of not paying or paying, the income and percentage pay, the New Testament application, attitude and time of tithing, and answers to most frequently asked questions and others that may leach in many people’s mind are considered.
It also outlines the most frequently asked questions on tithing, offerings, and giving.

THE ACTS OF SELFISHNESS

RTR31JNN selfish photo images selfish1 IMG-20150809-WA0006

Selfishness:
This basically refers to keeping all things to yourself.
Webster dictionary defines Selfishness as “that supreme self-love or self-preference which leads a person to direct his purposes to the advancement of his own interest, power, or happiness, without regarding those of others.”
Selfishness is that attitude of being concerned with one’s own interests above the interests of others. (Philippians 2:3-4), “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.”
(Exodus 20: 17), “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.”
How does it show itself in the conduct of an individual?
(1) As Lovers of Self. “For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,” (2 Timothy 3:2)
(2) As Pleasing Ourselves. “We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.” (Romans 15:1)
(3) As Seeking Our Own. “Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.” (1 Corinthians 10:33)
(4) As seeking after Gain. “Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter ” (Isaiah 56:11)
(5) As Seeking Undue Precedence. “And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.” (Matthew 20:21)
(6) As Neglect of the Poor. “But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?” (1 John 3:17)
(7) As Performing Duty for Reward. “The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.” (Micah 3:11)
Many Christians are not able to make it in life because of hypocrisy. Selfishness is the disease of failures. If a Christian refuses to share, his potential can kill him because he cannot enjoy freedom in his conscience when it’s against his natural design to give.
Many church leaders have turned their church into real commercial business. They snatch singers, worship leaders, and other active members from other churches to populate their church. They have left the lost souls and rather chasing for worldly pleasure, and this is selfishness. They think of only their daily bread and the luxury cars and other things. Some also have indoctrinated their members not to attend any church even if the church is of Christ nor associate themselves with others.
Selfishness is also found in unkindness. Many people refuse to show kindness to the poor and needy. When their friends need help, they will never help out. Some do not want others to be at the same level with them.
In (Luke 6:38), “it states that if one wilfully gives, it will be given back to him.”
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

THE WORLD OF INDISCIPLINED

Lack of discipline

1240533_10151697822299822_1660778206_nBasically, discipline means self-respect and respect for others. Discipline is about setting goals and trying to meet the goals. It is the ability to train the mind, and spirit for achievement.
In my research the majority of the people I interviewed said that most Christians are not self-disciplined that is why they cannot live a successful Christian life. They are lazy in business oriented initiatives and slow in reasoning up. A disciplined person places value on essentials, orders his priorities, operates by schedules or uses time effectively, functions without supervision and effectively utilises every opportunity that comes.
A disciplined life is the soul of an army, it makes more numbers formidable, and it procures success to the weak and esteem to all.
A discipline life is a defined life.
Characteristics of discipline
1. The necessity of discipline: To deter destruction (Hebrews 10:4), “For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins”. The writer of Hebrews ends chapter 10 with a strong warning coupled with strong encouragement: Those who shrink back from faith and God’s will are destroyed, but those who persevere receive all that He has promised. Chapter 11 is full of examples from the men and women in Scripture, and then chapter 12 continues with the encouragement to live a courageous, faithful life. The context of verse 4 is this idea that haphazard living leads to destruction. The message is clear: Disciplined lives reap rewards.
Discipline is about watching your child to see the direction in which he’s going. Remember the illustration of giving your child the keys and letting him drive on his own? Action needs to be taken when you see your child take the wrong route and you know he’s headed straight for a cliff. You yank the wheel or slam on the brakes, or even put up a barrier so your child won’t plunge a thousand feet. He’ll get mad for a moment, but ten years down the road he’ll thank you. Many parents are afraid of making their children mad.
Do you see how, from this perspective, discipline – even painful discipline – is actually an expression of love? It always seeks the child’s best interest. A mature parent can withstand the anger of their child and say, “That’s okay, you don’t need to love me right now. You’ll love me for it in a few years.” It hurts temporarily, but to compromise your child’s welfare from fear of losing his love will hurt a lot worse later on.
2. The means of discipline: Actions and words. In the (Proverbs 3:11) passage that is quoted in Hebrews, two different Hebrew words are used: yasar (discipline), which involves God’s actions; and yakach (rebuke), which refers to God’s words. (Hebrews 12:5) tells us not to make light of God’s actions and not to lose heart at His words of rebuke. Yasar refers to disciplinary actions; yakach refers to corrective words.
As parents, that’s exactly how we are to discipline. We bring words and actions, warnings and consequences, into our children’s situations in order to keep them on track.
3. The motive in discipline: To express love. When juvenile delinquents, as part of a research study, were asked how they knew their parents’ feelings toward them, almost all of them said that lack of discipline in their home was a sign that their parents didn’t love them. We often think that we are expressing love when we repeatedly say, “I’ll give you another chance.” What we’re really doing, though, is neglecting to set boundaries that let our children know they’re in a safety zone where they can feel secure. One of the most powerful ways to love your child is to be consistent in your discipline. And that’s really hard. We are inclined to do whatever we can to maintain a friendship with our kids, when discipline is actually much more important.
I tend to be discipline well for a few weeks, and then find it more convenient to make compromises. Kids pick up on that in an instant. Try listening to them sometime when they aren’t aware that a parent can hear them. Their conversation often sounds something like this:
“I got grounded last night.”
“Oh no. How long?”
“They said two weeks, but it’ll probably just be three or four days.”
Where did they get that idea? Children are diligent students of parental behaviour. They usually know when they can get away with things. Over time, they learn your breaking points and where you are prone to compromise. They aren’t consciously taking notes, of course. They’ve been taught very well by experience.
4. The goal of discipline: To teach obedience. When you teach your children godly submission, you’re teaching them to do the right thing for the right reason. You want them to get beyond the point where they say “I’ve got to” and get them to the point of obeying out of love and trust. Their discipline will be primarily external in the beginning, but eventually it should become internal — so integrated into their personality that it’s self-discipline rather than imposed discipline. The way you regulate how they speak and act toward other people needs to become a part of who they are so that when you remove the regulations, the behaviour remains.
5. The result of discipline: Short-term pain and long-term gain. The reason we don’t like to discipline our kids is because it involves short-term pain. We’re sympathetic to their feelings, and we never enjoy hurting them. Verse 11 acknowledges the pain, saying all discipline — not some or even most, but all – seems not to be pleasant, but painful. But there’s a process involved; those who have been trained by it yield the fruit of righteousness.
